Unmanaged Accounts

Unmanaged accounts are user accounts within SaaS applications that exist outside centralized identity and access management (IAM) systems. These accounts often lack proper monitoring, making them vulnerable to excessive permissions or unauthorized use. Unmanaged accounts typically arise from manual provisioning or shadow IT practices. Identifying and integrating these accounts into centralized governance frameworks is critical for reducing operational risk, enhancing security, and ensuring compliance with access control policies.
