Perimeters: RSA 2025 Recap

We didn’t have a booth at RSA this year but we had something better: dozens of real conversations with security leaders in the wild.

From coffee shops to crowded hallways, dinners to demo chats, RSA 2025 gave us a front-row seat to the topics that CISOs, architects, and security operators actually care about.

And it’s clear: SaaS security isn’t a side quest anymore.

It is the main storyline.

What We Heard

Across every conversation, whether it was about AI risk, identity governance, or shadow SaaS, the message was consistent:

“We don’t know what we don’t know in SaaS.”

“Our SSO coverage is great until it’s not.”

“We need less noise, more context, and faster action.”

Security teams are overwhelmed by the pace of SaaS adoption, under-resourced to govern it, and ready to rethink how they do visibility, identity, and automation.

What We Shared

We spent the week sharing how Perimeters is helping teams:

  • Discover apps that bypass SSO entirely (Deep Shadow)
  • See every user identity, human or not
  • Prioritize misconfigurations and identity risks by severity
  • Automate access reviews across their SaaS stack

The reaction was consistent: “This is exactly the kind of visibility we need.”

And the best part?

We were able to show it in real time - over coffee, in Slack DMs, or walking down the Street.

What We Learned

Security leaders aren’t just looking for another dashboard.

They’re looking for:

  • Products that respect their time
  • Vendors who show up as partners
  • Answers that cut through noise

RSA reminded us that the future of SaaS security belongs to platforms that are frictionless, focused, and human.

End Note

To everyone who met with us, challenged our thinking, or told us what’s not working - thank you.

We’re back at work, building for what’s next.

If we didn’t get a chance to connect, let’s fix that.
